Megan Clark

Megan Clark is consistently drawn to the patterns, textures and colors that nature has to offer us. She enjoys the way in which a simple element like a feather or a fish scale, in repetition, can become such a complex and beautiful vision.

These images are translated into Megan’s jewelry by the breaking down of patterns to its basic shape and color scheme. Through employing basic fabrication techniques, she constructs each piece in layers, treating it as a collage.

An award winning jewelry artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Megan is inspired by both patterns found in nature and architectural structure.  By combining these two influences, she is able to create a balance between the organic and geometric worlds of design.

Her use of untraditional metal treatments and finishes gives her jewelry a lush and contemporary appeal while remaining versatile and timeless.  Every piece, whether cufflinks, earrings, necklaces, pendants or rings, is handmade by the artist to perfection; she does not mold, stamp or laser cut any of her work.
