Elizabeth Lyne

Elizabeth is a jeweler fascinated with color and loves to combine interesting stones and colored pearls into jewelry that can be worn every day. Each design is original and made by Elizabeth.

She fabricates her jewelry using untextured sterling silver and 14k double-clad goldfill sheets, wire and tubing. She applies textures with a rolling mill and scraps of fabrics. She has always loved pretty rocks and is fascinated with the endless variety of beautiful patterns and colors.

Since she discovered dyed freshwater pearls, her dining room has been covered in trays and boxes of stones and pearls so she can play with them when the mood hits her!

Elizabeth’s favorite designs have interchangeable parts that can be worn in several ways.  Her practical nature and engineering background leads her to make things that are multi-functional and high quality.  She loves dreaming up new designs and researching the skills and techniques required to make them possible.

Elizabeth currently serves on the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild’s Board of Directors as President.
