Fine Craft Artists
Founded in 1970 by artists, the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The organization serves fine craft collectors and its Exhibiting Artist Members by recognizing and promoting fine crafts, encouraging and stimulating creativity, appreciation and activity supporting the professional craft industry and hosting the region’s premier fine craft market.
Representing over 190 artists, Exhibiting Artist Members living and working in the United States are juried into the organization based on handmade original work. The pieces reflect a mastery of technique and originality of design. A rigorous two-step jury selection process, including a slide jury followed by an object jury at the annual Carolina Artisan Craft Market, results in only the finest craft artists participating as Exhibiting Artist Members.
Our Exhibiting Artist Members work includes the following media: clay, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, photography, printmaking and wood.
