Through her creative process, she analyzes aspects of interacting with the wilderness. She interprets activities and visuals experienced while camping, canoeing, or hiking and translates these into woven objects.

Mary is a graduate of NC State University where she earned a Master in Art+Design degree. She is available to teach workshops including: Weaving, Woven Shibori, Ikat and Weaving Journals.
