Kathleen is a mixed media artist creating in her Holly Springs, North Carolina studio.  She uses acid etching, copper floating on all resist watercolors with natural organics to create wall hangings and sculptural works.

To create her mixed media pieces Kathleen uses acid etching copper floating on all resist watercolors with natural organics.  Colors and patterns emerge on these three dimensional wall hangings and sculptural works to the delight of the collector.

These collages incorporate etched copper, dried flowers and glass beads and other found materials matted on handmade paper brushed with watercolor designs or on painted bamboo and venetian plaster on wood.  The end result is simple beauty.
