Glenn Gage, Potter
Glen creates his high-fired stoneware functional clay pieces out of his Morehead City, North Carolina studio, Gage Pottery.
His pots, vases, platters, jars, teapots and mugs are decorated with colorful brushed oxides and slip trailing over a porcelian slip background. The pieces are then glazed with celedon for a luminous finish revealing impeccable craftsmanship.

Glen Gage is a coastal North Carolina potter. He works our of his studio, Gage Pottery in Morehead City, NC.
Each piece of stoneware clay is individually thrown and designed by Glenn. The decoration features rich blues, golds and reds of brushed oxides and slip trailing over a porcelian slip background. The pots, vases, platters, jars, teapots and mugs are then glazed with celedon for a luminous finish revealing impeccable craftsmanship.
These pieces of stoneware are then high fired in a gas kiln, resulting in a beautiful, yet functional work of art. All the materials used are nontoxic and leadfree, therefore absolutely safe for consumer use as functional pottery.
