Barbara is a Clay Artist working out of her studio in Norfolk, Virginia.  She creates wheel-thrown bowls, lamps, serving pieces and sculptural objects finished with a velvety matte glaze with the occasional sparkle of gold, silver or copper leaf.

For more than 30 years I have created clay pottery pieces. My wheel-thrown bowls, lamps, serving pieces and sculptural objects showcase form, design and color.   Each are finished with a velvety matte glaze.  Occasionally I add a final sparkle with gold, silver or copper leaf.

I work in my Mann Made Designs studio in Norfolk, Virginia.

In 2015 I was elected to serve as a Director on the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild Board.  I look forward to working with the Board towards achieving the Guild mission of promoting the professional pursuit of fine craft through exhibition opportunities, member involvement and community engagement.
