Bob and Patti Stern, Mixed Media Artist

Bob and Patti Stern are mixed media artists working out of The Perfect View studio in Moreland, Ohio.  What began in 1993 as using vintage windows destined for the landfill, has grown into a concept of giving discarded objects another life as art.

In The Perfect View studio, Bob and Patti construct sculptures and cabinets from found objects, architectural antiques, reclaimed wood and other unusual porcelain, brass or glass findings.  The final object resembles the human form and is finished through weathering, glazing and hand rubbing for antiquity.

Bob and Patti Stern

What began in 1993 as using vintage windows destined for the landfill, has grown into a concept of giving discarded objects another life as art.

Using found, discarded objects of beautiful craftsmanship of the nineteenth century, Bob and Patti blend the old to create their own one-of-a-kind new art pieces.

Each sculpture or cabinet begins as a vision from the artists often inspired by found objects and architectural antiques.  Unusual porcelain, brass or glass findings adorn the piece, that often resembles the human form. From clockhead curio cabinets, to mirrors and key butler, each piece is touched by the artists hands.
