Lorin Fields

I dye natural fibers, silks, cotton, bamboo and wool roving. I overdye with the Japanese Resists of Shibori patterning on the fibers. I screen print personal imagery that interests me as it relates to the subject matter of what I’m designing.

My latest process that I am very inspired with is that of felting. I have an exceptional eye for color and blending that enables me to saturate my hues and then collage into the distinctive products that I make.

I designed contemporary tabletop accoutrements for the home and furnishing markets for nine years.  In 2009 I transitioned to art to wear, seeking a larger canvas, constantly moving, with limitless possibility.

Art 2 Wear 4 Anyday365 is comprised of masterfully dyed silks, bamboo, wool and cotton fibers crafted into accessories and wearables for any occasion.
