I have a studio in Athens, GA that I love to work in. I use 18K gold or sterling silver for my jewelry and it is all fabricated from sheet metal or wire. My jewelry is the natural result of what I have learned people like to wear and how comfortable I am working with my tools and materials. My inspiration comes from a million different things including the lush colors, fabrics and textures of the Caribbean and the fragmented appearance of old, falling down buildings. Also for better or worse I am always influenced by the comics. Growing up I read every comic strip, New Yorker cartoon and every issue of 'Mad Magazine' when I should have been doing my homework.

I love doing the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Show. My husband grew up in North Carolina and we hope to move back here someday. In the meantime doing this show and coming to Raleigh is like visiting my second home.
