Application for the 2016 Carolina Artisan Craft Market and Membership to the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild is Now Closed

To exhibit at the Guild’s annual fall event, artists must either be an Exhibiting Artist Member in good standing or be juried into the show as a Provisional Member.

Application for membership begins the rigorous two step jury selection process.  Our juror(s) review each online application, images and artist statement.  Then applicants are scored and artists whose work reflects a mastery of technique and originality of design are juried into the annual Carolina Artisan Craft Market held this year on Nov. 11 – 13, 2016.  The event is held at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.

If an artist chooses to accept this invitation to participate, an object jury is the final step in the jury process.  The Standards Committee of the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild along with the guest juror(s) reviews each provisional members work and booth display at the November event.  Artists who pass the object jury are invited to become Exhibiting Artist Members.  Exhibiting Artist Members in good standing pay annual dues of $70 and receive an invitation to participate in Guild events.

Applications are now closed for 2016.  Our 2016 prospectus, including eligibility and requirements, is still available for view at the CDCG page on ZAPPlication.com.  Check back to our website here in January 2017 for updates on our call for artists for next year!  Applications for 2017 will be accepted until May 1, 2017.  If you’d like to be added to our email list for CDCG updates and information, please submit your name via our Contact Form.
