I create the Embellished Monotype by manipulating black oil based ink on a plex-glass plate. I then transfer that image onto paper with an etching press. Three impressions are taken- very dark, medium, and light grey. After the ink and paper dry, water color and pastel are added to the paper to create an one-of-a-kind artwork.
