I design and construct contemporary jewelry in sterling silver and 18K gold accented with precious and semi-precious gemstones. My work is fabricated from metal sheet, wire, and tubing. Texture, color, and dimension are elements incorporated into my jewelry to achieve the effect of a fine work of sculpture only on a much smaller scale. There is no casting. Each piece is unique and made entirely by myself.

Before becoming a metalsmith, I held a variety of jobs, including bartending, cooking, modeling, and teaching. Also, I have been a parent for the last twenty one years and my son is now in art school at East Carolina University.

I live in the city with three big dogs in a small house that includes my studio. My best advice is to love what you do and to give it your best energy. I love working with metal, being in art shows and being on the road.

Medium: precious metal jewelry
Materials: sterling silver, 18ky gold, 22ky gold, semi-precious stones, agates and jaspers
Primary Technique: fabrication
Process: fabrication of one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry includes cold-forging, reticulation, soldering, roller printing, acid-etching, and chasing

Every piece of jewelry is completely made by myself without any assistance other than the advice of good friends.

In business since 1981
